Nathaniel Newkirk is a Florida native and a Director of Photography based in Washington, D.C. and New York. His passion for photography ignited during his time as a combat photographer in the United States Army, where he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. While still serving in the military, he transitioned into a role as a Broadcast Journalist for U.S. Army Europe, where he supported NATO and its allies. He later culminated his Army career as a Presidential Videographer, capturing footage of the President and world leaders during events and diplomatic missions around the globe.

Throughout his career, Nathaniel has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including former President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Bono, Kanye West, John Leguizamo, and USAID Administrator Samantha Power, among many others.

He has directed major events like the World Economic Forum and G7 Summits, and in 2014, he was honored with the Best Combat Documentation Photo award. Nathaniel continues to evolve as a Director of Photography, expanding his expertise into the realm of fashion photography, where his professionalism meets his passion.
